BACKGROUND
I was lucky enough growing up to have the chance to live in multiple states. I hopped between Las Vegas and NikeTown (Beaverton, OR) before calling Tampa, Florida my home my junior year of high school. I decided to stay in Tampa to pursue my Sport Management degree at The University of Tampa.

I was an allstar cheerleader for 13 years and transitioned into coaching my senior year of high school after injury took me out of the sport. Being around my gyms marketing team and the media roles at various competitons, this was the deciding factor for me to pursue a Sport Management degree.
WHY I DO WHAT I DO
I grew up in a family that valued sports, teamwork, and leadership. With generational coaches and multiple athletes in the family, I can't remeber a weekend where I wasn't at the field. Those weekends are memories that I'll cherish forever and I crave a career where I can replicate that experience for other families. When I covered my first game and I felt my stomach flutter, I knew this was the path for me. No profession can replicate the rush of covering the magic of sports.
